The EEOC's New Orleans district office sued EADS Aeroframe Services LLC, a Louisiana aerospace firm, on September 30, 2004 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. The EEOC's complaint alleged that EADS violated Title VII when it discriminated against its employees based on race (black, hispanic, and white) when it created a hostile work environment through racist comments and threats for association with protected groups. The parties entered into a consent decree on November 14, 2006 which stipulated that the defendant would pay three affected employees $18,000 in total damages, revise its EEO policy and complaint procedures and report these changes to the EEOC.

The terms of the agreement were to run for 3 years. The docket sheet does not show any further enforcement took place; the case was presumably closed in 2009.
