In September 2006, the Indianapolis office of the EEOC brought this Title VII suit against Eagle Contracting Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. The complaint alleged that the defendant discriminated against the claimant by discharging the claimant because of her pregnancy. The case settled by entry of a consent decree in February 2007.

The five year consent decree required the defendant to pay the claimant $30,000 in damages and attorney's fees; refrain from discrimination and retaliation; post notice; provide training for owners, managers, and supervisors; notify employees with hiring and firing authority that pregnancy is not a factor that can be in the employment decision; submit reports to the EEOC about compliance and discharges of pregnant women; and allow the EEOC to review its compliance with the decree.

The terms of the agreement were to run for 5 years. The docket sheet does not show any further enforcement took place; the case was presumably closed in 2012.
