In September 2005, the Milwaukee office of the EEOC brought this suit against Mt. Morris Mutual Insurance Co. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. The complaint alleged that the defendant discriminated against the claimant by firing the claimant due to her pregnancy, violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The case settled by entry of a consent decree in April 2006. The two year consent decree includes: an anti-discrimination clause, training, posting of notice, and payment of $65,000 to the claimant. The terms of the agreement were to run for 2 years. The docket sheet does not show any further enforcement took place; the case was presumably closed in 2008.
