Case Summary

The Memphis District Office of the EEOC brought this suit against The Outer Limit of Nashville, L.L.C., in August of 2002, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. The only document available from PACER was the court docket and therefore little is known about the cause of action and the total relief obtained. The case was a short one, only 9 months in duration. There were two settlement conferences that were postponed; however, the parties must have reached a settlement at some point as the case was resolved through a consent decree entered on 5/23/2003. The only information about the consent decree from the docket is that the defendants were to pay two complainants a total of $13,500 and to post the attached notice in a conspicuous place. The money was to be paid in an $11,500 amount to one complainant and the remaining $2,000 to the other.
