In May 1998, the San Antonio office of the EEOC brought this Title VII suit against Leasing Services, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. The complaint alleged that the defendant discriminated against the claimants by subjecting them to a hostile work environment because of their sex and constructively discharging one of the claimants. The case settled by entry of a consent decree in January 1999. The 180 day consent decree required the defendant to provide the claimant with neutral references; expunge their personnel records; and pay the claimants a total of $3,500.
