In September 2004 the Chicago District Office of the EEOC filed this lawsuit against Federal Express Corporation in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois alleging sexual harassment and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Specifically, the complaint alleged that the complainants, two male employees, were sexually harassed and at least one constructively discharged in retaliation for his opposition to the harassment. The complainants intervened in the lawsuit in January 2007. Following discovery, several status conferences, and two settlement conferences, the parties settled the lawsuit in April 2007 through a consent decree.

The two year decree required the defendant to: report on complaints, make compliance reports, allow the EEOC access for monitoring, post notice of employee rights, provide EEO training, and pay $275,000 to be distributed among two individuals. The docket sheet does not show any further enforcement; the case was presumably closed in 2009.
