In February 2005, the Chicago office of the EEOC brought this Title VII suit against Concentra Health Services in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. The complaint alleged that the defendant subjected the claimant to adverse working conditions and terminated him in retaliation of his complaint of conduct in the workplace that he believed violated Title VII. The court dismissed the first complaint in November 2005. The EEOC filed an amended complaint, and the court dismissed the amended complaint in July 2006. The EEOC filed an appeal in September 2006; in August 2007, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the dismissal. See E.E.O.C. v. Concentra Health Services, Inc., 496 F.3d 773 (7th Cir. 2007).
