Case Summary

In January 1997, the EEOC's Atlanta office filed this suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia against Osteomedics, Inc. Although the only information available for this summary was the docket, it is known that the defendant moved for summary judgment in December 1997, which was granted in a Report and Recommendation by a Magistrate Judge in April 1998 and approved by a District Judge over the EEOC's objections in July 1998. The EEOC appealed to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in September 1998. That appeal, however, was dismissed sua sponte in January 1999.
