In September 2005, the EEOC district office in Birmingham, Alabama brought this suit against Faroqui Enterprises, Inc. (d/b/a Hardee's), a regional fast food restaurant franchise, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. The complaints alleged that the defendant violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act by creating and maintaining a sexually hostile work environment. One of the charging parties intervened, adding state tort claims.
In February 2007, the parties voluntarily dismissed the case. The reasons for the dismissal are not known.
