The Baltimore District Office of the EEOC brought this action in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, against International Computers & Telecommunications, Inc and STG, Inc. We do not have a copy of the complaint, filed in June 2002, but we know that it alleged a violation of Title VII, in that Defendant retaliated against the charging party because he filed a charge of discrimination. In November 2003 the parties settled and a consent decree was entered. The decree, valid for one year, required Defendant to pay the charging party $25,000, to expunge his employment records and to provide him with a neutral employment reference. Defendant was enjoined from retaliating in violation of Title VII and required to provide Title VII training to its management, with a special training session for the CEO of the company, and post a notice of non-discrimination at its facility.
