The EEOC's Birmingham office filed this suit on September 14, 1999 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama against Interim Executive Recruiting. The EEOC alleged age discrimination in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
The case settled, and in August 2000 a consent decree was entered. Interim agreed to pay the complainant $47,500 and conduct training for its managers at the Birmingham location.
