In May 1997, the Charlotte District Office of the EEOC brought this suit against Carolina Media Group, Inc. (d/b/a Curtis Media Group, d/b/a Wazz-FM) in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. The only document publicly available regarding this case is the docket; therefore, the exact allegations involved are unknown. After some scheduling orders, the parties participated in mediation and entered into a settlement agreement in April 1998.
