Sometime before April 19, 1982, an inmate at the Lorton Reformatory in Lorton, Virginia filed a pro se lawsuit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against the District of Columbia Department of Corrections in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The court (Judge Harold H. Greene) approved a consent decree in the case.
On April 24, 1998, the plaintiff asked the district court to modify the consent decree, and on February 18, 1999, the court (Judge Stanley Sporkin) denied the request. We have no further information on the proceedings in this case.
