The EEOC's Chicago district office sued International Profit Associates, Inc.; Arnold & Sons Plumbing-Heating-Air Conditioning, Inc.; and Gary M. Dickhaus, on June 12, 2001 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. The EEOC's complaint is unavailable as the docket is the only document available for this case. In December 2001, International Profit Associates, Inc. filed a motion for summary judgment which was granted in May 2002, removing International Profit Associates, Inc. as a defendant. International Profit Associates, Inc. and Gary M. Dickhaus filed a motion to dismiss the intervenor's amended complaint in August 2002, which was granted in September 2002, removing Gary M. Dickhaus as a defendant. On July 1, 2003, Arnold & Sons Plumbing-Heating-Air Conditioning, Inc. entered into a consent decree with the EEOC, the contents of which are unknown.
