The EEOC's Indianapolis district office sued Dana Corporation, on July 28, 1997 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. The EEOC's cause of action is not known for certain because the docket is the only document available for this case. The docket suggests that the case was brought under Title VII. The EEOC filed a motion for partial summary judgment in January 1998 and the defendant filed a motion for summary judgment in February 1998. Neither motion was resolved. The parties entered into a consent decree on June 22, 1998, the contents of which are unknown.
