In June 1999, the Denver District Office of the EEOC filed this suit against Hi-Gain Feed Lot, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. We do not have a copy of the complaint; therefore, the exact allegations involved are not known for certain. The docket suggests that the case was brought under Title VII. A private plaintiff intervened in the suit in October 1999. In August 2000, the intervening plaintiff and the defendant settled through a consent decree. However, the EEOC and the defendant did not reach a settlement until December 2002, finally terminating the case.
