In January 2000, the Memphis (along with Little Rock) office of the EEOC brought this suit against the Fayetteville Hotel Ventures Limited Partnership d/b/a Hilton Inn in the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas. The defendant moved for summary judgment, which was denied. The case settled by entry of a consent judgment in December 2000. The docket indicates that the defendant was required to pay $10,000 in damages to the complainant. The complaint and consent decree are not available.
