In October 1998, the EEOC's Denver Field Office filed this suit against Excel Corporation in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. The only document publicly available regarding this case is the docket; therefore, the exact allegations of the complaint are unknown. In October 1998, an individual complainant intervened in the suit. After some discovery disputes and a denied motion for summary judgment by the defendant in November 1999, the parties settled in April 2000 through a consent decree.
