Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio
Nominated by Dwight D. Eisenhower on July 28, 1959, to a seat vacated by Lester LeFerve Cecil. Confirmed by the Senate on September 2, 1959, and received commission on September 8, 1959. Served as chief judge, 1962-1973. Assumed senior status on March 1, 1973. Service terminated on February 5, 1979, due to death.
