Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit
Nominated by Dwight D. Eisenhower on May 13, 1955, to a seat vacated by Harrie Brigham Chase. Confirmed by the Senate on July 11, 1955, and received commission on July 13, 1955. Assumed senior status on November 13, 1970. Service terminated on February 6, 1984, due to death.
