Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania
Nominated by William J. Clinton on November 17, 1993, to a new seat authorized by 104 Stat. 5089. Confirmed by the Senate on February 10, 1994, and received commission on February 11, 1994. Served as chief judge, 1999-2006. Service terminated on April 28, 2010, due to appointment to another judicial position.
