Judge, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas
Nominated by Lyndon B. Johnson on June 28, 1966, to a seat vacated by T. Whitfield Davidson. Confirmed by the Senate on July 22, 1966, and received commission on July 22, 1966. Served as chief judge, 1973-1977. Assumed senior status on February 7, 1979. Service terminated on June 17, 1985, due to death.
