Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia
Nominated by Dwight D. Eisenhower on February 25, 1957, to a seat vacated by Henry A. Schweinhaut. Confirmed by the Senate on March 26, 1957, and received commission on March 28, 1957. Served as chief judge, 1971-1974. Assumed senior status on October 31, 1977. Service terminated on August 14, 1992, due to death.
