McDowell, Henry Clay

Judge, U.S. District Court, Western District of Virginia
Received a recess appointment from Theodore Roosevelt on November 12, 1901, to a seat vacated by John Paul; nominated to the same position by Theodore Roosevelt on December 5, 1901. Confirmed by the Senate on December 18, 1901, and received commission on December 18, 1901. Assumed senior status on September 1, 1931. Service terminated on October 8, 1933, due to death.
