Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit
Nominated by Dwight D. Eisenhower on May 17, 1956, to a seat vacated by Orie Leon Phillips. Confirmed by the Senate on June 4, 1956, and received commission on June 5, 1956. Served as chief judge, 1970-1977. Assumed senior status on December 3, 1977. Service terminated on September 28, 1983, due to death.
