Knox, John Clark

Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York
Nominated by Woodrow Wilson on March 29, 1918, to a seat vacated by Martin T. Manton. Confirmed by the Senate on April 12, 1918, and received commission on April 12, 1918. Served as chief judge, 1948-1955. Assumed senior status on April 30, 1955. Service terminated on August 23, 1966, due to death.
