Judge, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio
Nominated by Lyndon B. Johnson on September 30, 1966, to a seat vacated by John Weld Peck II. Confirmed by the Senate on October 20, 1966, and received commission on November 3, 1966. Served as chief judge, 1975-1977. Assumed senior status on September 24, 1979. Service terminated on January 30, 1989, due to death.
