Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit
Nominated by Richard M. Nixon on December 5, 1969, to a seat vacated by Gerald McLaughlin. Confirmed by the Senate on December 17, 1969, and received commission on December 18, 1969. Served as chief judge, 1987-1990. Service terminated on January 15, 1990, due to retirement.
