Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit
Nominated by Lyndon B. Johnson on July 11, 1966, to a new seat authorized by 80 Stat. 75. Confirmed by the Senate on August 10, 1966, and received commission on August 11, 1966. Served as chief judge, 1981-1986. Service terminated on April 24, 1999, due to death.
