Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit
Nominated by Lyndon B. Johnson on July 27, 1965, to a seat vacated by Lester Lefevre Cecil. Confirmed by the Senate on August 19, 1965, and received commission on August 19, 1965. Assumed senior status on October 1, 1980. Service terminated on October 29, 1998, due to death.
