Judge, U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut
Nominated by John F. Kennedy on August 7, 1961, to a new seat authorized by 75 Stat. 80. Confirmed by the Senate on August 15, 1961, and received commission on August 15, 1961. Served as chief judge, 1971-1974. Assumed senior status on January 20, 1977. Service terminated on November 5, 1988, due to death.
