Judge, U.S. District Court, District of Utah
Nominated by Richard M. Nixon on June 17, 1971, to a seat vacated by Albert Sherman Christensen. Confirmed by the Senate on July 22, 1971, and received commission on July 22, 1971. Served as chief judge, 1978-1984. Assumed senior status on December 20, 1984. Service terminated on March 24, 1996, due to death.
