EEOC's Washington, DC and Houston, TX offices filed this lawsuit against the defendant, Southwestern Camera Company Inc. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas (Houston) on 02/10/2000. The documents available to us do not contain information about the allegations.

The parties reached an oral settlement agreement after the district court denied the defendant's summary judgment motion on 04/27/2001. The court dismissed the case on 05/03/2001. Thereafter, EEOC filed a motion to enforce the oral settlement agreement. The defendant made an offer of judgment under which the defendant agreed to pay $30,000 in total sum to resolve the case. EEOC accepted the offer and the district court entered a judgment for EEOC on 08/13/2001.
