The Dallas district office of the EEOC brought this suit against Razzoo's, L.P., a bar company, in March 2005 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The complaint alleged that Razzoo's had engaged in a pattern or practice of discrimination against a named male complainant and a class of similarly situated men by subjecting males to disparate terms and conditions of employment, termination, and promotion, and by refusing to hire male applicants for bartender positions. The case is still ongoing in the district court as of April 22, 2008. There has been some discovery-related controversy, and the most recent substantial occurrence was the denial of Razzoo's Motion for Additional Interrogatories in March 2008.
