The EEOC's Memphis district office sued MBK, Inc., d/b/a Checkcare Systems of Nashville, on March 29, 1999 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. The basis for the EEOC's complaint is unknown because the docket is the only document available for this case. The parties entered into a consent decree on November 1, 1999 which stipulated, at least, that each complainant would receive $10,000 in damages and would have their employment records expunged.
