The Seattle District Office brought this action in the Western District of Washington, against Gordon Trucking. The complaint, which was filed in September 2004, alleged sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. A consent decree was entered in October of 2004 which provided that Defendant would pay a total of $235,000, with $25,000 going to the charging party, $150,000 going to the rest of the Class and $85,000 going into a fund to be used for Defendant's compliance with the decree.
