Case Summary

In November 1999, the EEOC district office in St. Louis, Missouri brought this suit against the Kansas City Southern Railway Company, a regional freight courier, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. The complaint is not currently available. After a failed defense motion for summary judgment and a five-day trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the defendants in March 2001. The EEOC did not file a notice of appeal with the court.
