EEOC's Birmingham, AL and Washington, DC offices jointly filed this complaint against defendant Tactical Enforcement Police Inc. at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. The defendant was also known as Security Technical Services, Inc., and Hunter Guard Services. The complaint was filed on 09/28/2000.

EEOC served the defendant on 01/22/2001. While the EEOC filed a motion for default judgment in March 2001, it subsequently filed a motion for voluntary dismissal on 08/03/2001. The motion was granted on 08/07/2001. With access only to the docket and an order granting the motion for voluntary dismissal, it is not known whether the parties had settled.
