In January 1997, the Detriot Office of the EEOC filed this lawsuit against Perfection Steel Treating, Incorporated in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. We do not have a copy of the complaint; therefore, the exact allegations are unknown. Following discovery, a failed motion for summary judgment by the defendant, and a failed motion for partial summary judgment by the EEOC, the case went to jury trial in October 1997 and a mistrial was declared. Following a second jury trial in January and February of 1998, the jury found in favor of the defendant.
