In May 1997 the New Orleans District Office of the EEOC filed this lawsuit against Murphy Exploration and Production Company in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. We do not have a copy of the complaint; therefore, the exact allegations involved are unknown, although the docket states that the cause is the Americans with Disabilities Act. The complaining party intervened in the lawsuit in November 1997. Following very little litigation activity, the lawsuit was terminated through a stipulated dismissal with prejudice in June 1998. We do not have a copy of the dismissal; therefore, the reason for this dismissal is unknown.
