In March 1998, the Milwaukee office of the EEOC brought this Title VII suit against TruGreen Limited Partnership in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. The complaint alleged that the defendant discriminated against the claimant by causing a sexually hostile work environment and constructively discharging him because he was a male. Both parties filed motions for summary judgment in December 1998, and the court granted summary judgment in favor the defendant in March 1999. See Equal Employment Opportunity Commission v. TruGreen Limited Partnership, 122 F. Supp. 2d 986 (W.D. Wisc. 1999). The EEOC filed a notice of appeal in June 1999, but dismissed the appeal in May 2000 due to settlement.
