In December 1999, the EEOC's New York office filed this suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against The Diller-Quaile School of Music, Inc. The only information available for this summary was the case docket. Two complainants were granted the right to intervene in February 2000 and the defendant's motion to dismiss was withdrawn in March 2000. Shortly thereafter, in June 2000, the case was concluded with a consent decree, evidencing a successful settlement conference that occurred in March 2000.
