The Milwaukee Office of the EEOC filed this action in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. The Defendant was Rogers Enterprises, Inc., doing business as Rogers & Hollands Jewelers, a jewelry designer and retailer. The controversy involved the alleged sexual harassment of three female employees and an alleged transfer in retaliation for complaining with one of the plaintiffs in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The lawsuit was filed February 2002 and was resolved by consent decree in March 2003. According to the March 2003 EEOC Litigation Settlement Report, the three complainants who intervened in the case were awarded a total of $155,000. The consent decree and complaints are not available.
