In October 2000, the Dallas District Office of the EEOC filed this lawsuit against TCIM Services Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas alleging retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Specifically, the complaint alleged the defendant terminated the complaining party's employment in retaliation for her complaint that its hiring policies discriminated against African-American applicants. Following discovery, the defendant's motion for summary judgment was granted in December 2001 and the lawsuit was dismissed.
