In December 1999, the EEOC district office in Phoenix, Arizona brought this action against Arizona Sunset Care, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. The complaint is unavailable. While an EEOC motion to join a second defendant was pending, Sunset Care filed for bankruptcy and the proceedings were stayed. While the stay was in place, the parties were to file status reports every six months. After one party failed to file a timely status report, the case was dismissed pursuant to an EEOC motion in May 2005.
