In March 2001, the Atlanta District Office of the EEOC brought this suit against C.P. Shades in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The only document publicly available regarding this case is the docket; therefore, the exact allegations involved are unknown. A charging party intervened in the suit in July 2001. After some discovery disputes, the parties settled in March 2002 through a consent decree.
