The EEOC's San Francisco district office sued Western Shower Door, Inc. on January 10, 2005 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The EEOC's complaint alleged that the defendant violated Title VII when it discriminated based on sex (female) by creating a hostile work environment for an employee, resulting in her constructive discharge. The parties entered into a consent decree on August 15, 2005, the contents of which are unknown.
