The Philadelphia Office of the EEOC brought this suit against Best Buy Company, Inc in September 2000 in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia). Only the docket is available for this case. The court granted a private plaintiff's motion for consolidation with (2:00-cv-05460-JF) and intervention in November 2000, and three additional defendants were brought in to this case. After the court denied one individual defendant's motion to dismiss, or in the alternative for summary judgment, the case was settled by entry of consent decree in November 2001. A copy of the consent decree is not available.
