In June 1998, the Detroit District Office of the EEOC brought this suit against Ford Motor Company in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The only document publicly available regarding the case is the docket; therefore, the exact allegations involved are unknown. After some scheduling orders and some discovery, the parties took part in a settlement conference in April 1999. They entered into a settlement agreement in September 1999, dismissing the case.
