The Memphis District Office of the EEOC brought this suit against DuPont in April of 2001, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. The only document available from PACER is the docket, which does not give much information on the allegations or the terms of the outcome. The complainant intervened in this suit and within four months, on August 13, 2001, a consent decree was issued. The original magistrate recused herself a month before the consent decree and the defendant moved to dismiss the case early on.
